According to RFP Communications, its Worship festival was first of its kind. “We had a wonderful time of worship tonight. Hundreds of people from different parts of the country and beyond attended the long-awaited worship experience both physically and online,” it said in a post on its official facebook page.

RFP held its festival in the Dawn Auditorium located at its headquarters known as KCA (Koinonia Convocation Arena), whilst Fountain of Victory had its event at what is called the Victory Land.

RFP Ministry’s founding President, Pastor Aubrey speaking the event said, “God showed me this around 2008/2009 that there would come a time that people would encounter God through worship. Actually we called our team worship team and not praise team as commonly known because the Lord had taught me that we would have diverse miracles in this place though worship.”

He said that an environment of worship can cause great miracles that one has prayed for, for a very long time.

“When we called this a 3-hr worship experience, I did not know that we would actually feel electric as we worship. As I was worshiping, I had that experience. This day will birth more results than you can ever imagine.” He said

At the Victory Land at Fountain of Victory Church International with Apostle Ziba, The worship night on Saturday started on a high note with a performance by Zomba Fountain of Victory church international. After this it was time for Ethel Kamwendo Banda who had almost everyone on their feet as she took the stage. She performed her hit song “ndiumboni” which captivated the entire audience.

Apostle Joseph Ziba then took to the podium to a standing ovation from the crowd which was all dressed in white. Reading from Revelation 22 verse 6, he exhorted the congregation on the significance of worship. He explained that worship has a meaning in the spirit and when it is done without a understanding, it is done religiously.

“What you give out in worship, it is only God who receives it hence you need to understand clearly what you are doing. Worship is only meant to go to God and not to any man. Some people don’t go far in life because they receive worship which is only meant for God. Anything done with a good meaning has an empowerment from God”, he said.
