 Rapper David Kalilani On Nationwide Crusade As He Prepares For Album Release

Christian rapper, David Kalilani is in the Lower Shire this weekend in an attempt to take Christ to young people as the Word Alive Church minister continues on a gospel crusade across the country.

Friday night he was at Bangula ground in Nsanje district, the open air evangelical meetings seek to establish campus churches in all secondary schools.

According to Pastor David the crusade which is dubbed ‘Dominion Concerts’ will spill over to 2021 having started off last month.

“I am excited about this one. I love young people and especially those in these far places outside of town,” David has told zambuye.com in an exclusive interview.

He added, “We are reaching young people through out the country with the Gospel of of our Lord Jesus Christ and we are planting churches in Secondary schools as Word Alive Ministries International.”

David, who is in the company of Salima based artist Gospel Soldier and a Mzuzu University based rapper called G-quid, went on to mention that on Saturday the crusade is headed for Ngabu secondary school tommorow having started off with Fatima.

The musician also disclosed that this marks the start of a familiarisation tour ahead of the release of his double 16-track album release.

The youthful church minister has titled the album ‘The Lost Tapes Fire Season’. The first season dubbed ‘Burning Bush’, which has eight songs, comes out this December with the next edition christened ‘Firey Furnance’ scheduled for release the following month.
