First single from his yet to be named 10 track album is ready for release this Friday, Faith Mussa’s management team confirms in an exclusive interview with zambuye.com

This is a collaborative masterpiece, waiting remix, a joint that Faith Mussa has worked with UK based Sondr.

The artist manager, Sam Chiwaka, said “The song was recorded by London-based producer, Nico Bentley, with some guitars recording sessions at the Bashment Studio in London.

Signed to Beating Hearts, Faith’s Waiting remix, a version to Sondr’s piece, will be available for purchase on all good music streaming and distribution sites worldwide, including Spotfy, itunes, Google Play, Deezer.

Speaking to Faith Mussa on Tuesday, the ever described as Malawi’s Electronic One – Band of Afro-Soul, said the song was first released to the international audience and been enjoying airplay in Europe, but now it is going to be premiered on a number of Malawian Radio Stations from Friday, 18th September 2020.

Malawi’s first syndicated Radio show, E I Radio Experience airing on MIJ FM and YFM is one of the platforms to play the song. Other Radio Shows include The Traffic Jam on Capital FM on Friday and Times Radio’s Msangalutso.

Faith said, “This is my first single from my yet to be named 10 track album, and the title of the song befits the occasion. The waiting has been long. Last time I had an album out was in 2017 and I’m so grateful for the outpouring of love and support I have and I keep receiving from my fans in Malawi and worldwide. The wait for this new project I will make it worth it.”

Faith Mussa’s album, Mdidi, was a major success with an accolade of awards and global tours including prestigious music festivals like Glastonbury 2017 – UK, Watana Music festival 2018 – Mozambique, Lake of Stars Malawi and UK, Sauti za Busara 2019 – Zanzibar.
