MARY CHILIMA AND THE MEC CHAIR TO HEADLINE THE NATIONAL BUILDERS CONFERENCE.

As the festive season events keep on unfolding, youths should brace themselves as the Scripture Union Youth is to date the Vice President’s wife Mary Chilima and the Malawi Electoral Commissioner (MEC)chairperson Dr Chifundo Kachale at a youth conference programmed for 21 to 26 December 2020.

The National Builders Conference which is being hosted under the tagline Young People with Vision is to be hosted at Salima Technical College.

At the event, Madam Mary Chilima is expected to speak on Entrepreneurship whilst Dr Chifundo Kachale and his wife Mary who is also the former Director of Public Persecution are to lecture on different areas of Academic Excellence which, according to the organizers, are the fundamental principles of personal growth.

Speaking to Zambuye.com the Scripture Union Youth vice chairperson, Wisdom Banda, clarified that the event has been initiated to reignite young people to pursue their dreams despite aftermaths of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic which has affected many sectors across the globe

Banda said, “Scripture Union Youth has organized this conference for the youth in Malawi considering what everyone has passed through in this year, among others the impact of COVID 19 pandemic, and postponement of examination. These factors have affected a lot of youths, so we have come up with this conference in line with Joel chapter 2 vs 28, and this is where we will be able to refresh our mindset.”

He emphasized that it is of integral significance for young people, especially Christians to converge for a common purpose of seeing individual growth of spirituality and personal fulfilment.

“Such arrangements are very important in terms of Christian livity. You are aware that Scripture Union deals with the fostering spread of Bible messages plus working with churches, so this event will help build physical, spiritual, social and mental capacity of young people.”

Banda added, “During the week, we have lined up a lot activities that will happen with madam Mary Chilima, Justice Dr chifundo and Mrs Mary Kachale as guest speakers, whilst Pastor Sanders and many more will preach on various angles of life to these young people throughout the entire program.”

During the week, Scripture Union have also consulted services of Mastol, Mista Grey, Sir Creedy, and Lady Aika to spice up the event with their spectacular music.

He then said, “So far preparations for this Conference are at an advanced stage, and the fee for those interested to partake of this event is only eleven Thousand Kwacha (K11,000) per ticket and this is a Must attend Conference.”

Scripture Union is a non-profit organization aimed at fostering evangelism of the word of God and it’s operations have spread across the country with youth Bible club initiated in most communities.
