Mulanje Becomes First Beneficiary of Prophet Bushiri’s Complete Package’ Relief and Rehabilitation Initiative

Over 2000 households in Mulanje have received various relief and rehabilitation items courtesy of the ‘Complete Package’ initiative run by Proophet Shepherd Bushiri and Wife, Mary.

Complete Package initiative is a relief and rehabilitation program that has been set aside as a response to the recent tropical cyclone Ana.

Mulanje is the third most hit district recording over 18 000 households being affected.

Prophet Bushiri told the media that next stop is Thyolo targeting another 2000 households, each getting 10 packets of soya pieces, 25kg bag of maize, packets of sugar, plastic sheets for roofing and plastic buckets.

Bushiri said the complete package entails not just helping the households with relief items such as food materials, temporally shelter and sanitation facilities; but also supporting the victims with capacity to help them repair and rebuild their homes when the ground gets dry.

Recently President Lazarus Chakwera called on well wishers to support those affected.
