Born Isaac Maulid, SIR CREEDY, is a great reggae-dancehall weapon Malawi has fashioned. Praised as the Malawian christian dancehall icon by SPIRITUNEZ, NYALI MUZIK and other music promoters, Creedy has made international collaborations with well-established musicians from Zimbabwe, Kenya,Zambia and Uganda.
This year, he has contributed songs in Reggae riddims from Kenya. Sir Creedy has also worked with other Malawian Gospel music giants such as KBG, David Kalirani, Masomphenya, Mista Gray and many more.
Sir Creedy started his music journey in 2011 as a rapper and then transitioned to Dancehall in 2015 where he successfully re-branded himself as the Christian Dancehall icon that we now know in Malawi.
Probably the most featured dancehall artist in 2019, Creedy is signed with Nyali Muzik. He is also a respected artist and Co-founder of Zion Music group; a rising gospel reggae-dancehall movement.
With over 15 songs, Sir Creedy has already made remarkable impact on the gospel reggae music scene, where he is known for his creative blending of Jamaican English and Chichewa. His style mixes dancehall influences with aspects of worship music and Rap.
Sir Creedy is not only a musician, but also an innovative mind. He founded CANOPY Malawi organization; which collects donations and feed, clothes, and shelter under privileged children in Dowa district. He is on a mission to reclaim lost souls through dancehall music, evangelism and charity work.
Currently, he has released an Extended Play (EP) titled “This Gospel”.
