The Word Alive Ministries International is back with the Youth Camp this year to be held from the 9th to the 10th of July. The gathering will be at Word Alive Ministries International Lilongwe City church.

Pastor Ganizani Liwewe of the church who is one of the organizers told zambuye.com that this is the resurfacing of the Youth Camp.

“The last time we had such a retreat was in 2019 and the last two years got disturbed with the COVID-19 pandemic. We used to have National wide youth camps but this time around it’s going to be regional and we are starting with the central region,” he explained.

He said the purpose of the camp is to get fellowship with the youths and encourage them to live for and serve God.

“We have started the decade of harvest, as a church we are working in the vineyard. So this encounter focuses on imparting some sound encouragement and teachings to young people on how they can effectively serve their God with zeal. Hence the theme of the camp ‘Generation Zeal’.

Pastor Liwewe mentioned that there will be many activities taking place during the camp more specifically on Sunday as they will be wrapping up.

“The main speakers will be Pastor Mervin Donga who will be preaching and Rev David Kalirani who will be preaching and will also minister through music performance followed by other performers, poems and games.” He said.

Registration fee for the camp is 2000 Kwacha which is only meant to to subsidize the cost of expenditures during the camp. This carters every meal and refreshments for the camp days. Every youth in the central region is encouraged to attend the camp regardless of the different religious faiths they belong to.
