As an act of love for her fans worldwide, Wendy Harawa, on her birthday, has released audiovisuals for the highly anticipated international hit single, Kuhambelela.
The song glorifies God in three languages; Malawian Chichewa, Namibian Otjiwambo and English, now available on local TV networks in Malawi, Namibia Andy online on Wendy’s YouTube Channel.
Meanwhile the award winning singer has announced the #Kuhambelela 250,000 Kwacha Singing Challenge.
Making the announcement on her official facebook page, Wendy said her fans should record video clips of them dancing to the song.
“This is a praise song, we are celebrating God, the challenge in a way is an open invitation to people out there to a moment of praise to our God who gives us the victory in difficult moments,” Wendy said.
She said the release of the video and the song in itself proves God’s victory over our enemy, the devil, who tried to stop us through the robbery. While is Namibia, they were attacked by armed robbers during the filming of the music video.
“It’s an amazing feeling that finally this song has come out. The devil tried to stop us [through the robbery] because he knew something greater was coming, but was too late because we did it, God won, the Holy Spirit won. This is not a song one must miss, it’s a must-add to one’s playlist.”
Maranatha also shares her excitement: “It’s such a blessing and great privilege and honour that the song is finally out. Despite the setback of the robbery being really bad and affecting us in a negative way, God came through; what the enemy meant for evil God worked it out and turned it out for His glory.”
Meanwhile, Wendy has finalized work on another international collaboration with Zambia’s Kings Mwimba. She leaves this weekend for Uganda to work on yet another international hit with Uganda’s Gospel Music star, Levixon.
