Zaithwa, Her New single, Rest, making steady progress

The RFPMAM award winning afro-gospel artist, Zaithwa, has geared up in bringing joy and hope through music all ages can enjoy.

The artist’s full name Zaithwa Kalamula made the remarks after her newly realeasd single ‘Rest’ has been performing well on local radio stations and online music streaming and distribution sites.

Kalamula said, “About the song’s performance, I’m excited. It’s been a desire to bring the truth of God’s word through music people of all ages can love and enjoy.”

Giving a special comment about the message her ‘Rests’ carries, Kalamula said, “The song comes from discovering that true rest is found only in God. It is the rest that comes along with joy, peace and eternity.”

‘Rest’ marks Kalamula’s 5th single since she started recording music in 2016. Some of her notable hits include Zoe, It is Raining, and the Love Song. Since 2016, Kapalamula has managed to get some awards including the 2020 Gospel Kazako Top Songs and her ‘It is Raining’ has managed to get the 2017 Best Song.

Hailing from Blantyre, Kalamula started recording songs in 2016. Apart from music the youthful artist is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Education at African Bible College.
