UK based Malawian Writer, Faith Rose Chataika, who wrote the synopsis of the video, said:
“This song is a calling to our inner child that is uninhibited and lives out our truest desires. We all have dreams and each one is called to rise to make their dreams a reality. In here is a beckoning to awaken the seed within us and allow it to germinate.”

The song pays homage to the popular Malawian folk tale of Kamdothi. “Kamdothi” is a chewa word which simply means from the ground. The folk tale ends in tragedy and leaves the listener forewarned, Wishing for a better end. This song is the reawakening of that hope that is within us. It gives light to the hope there is in tragedy. It encourages one to germinate and bring forth fruit.

In a statement posted on Lawi facebook page, she said “This song pays homage to the popular Malawian folktale of Kamdothi.”

Lawi is optimistic of releasing the album in early 2021.
