Gwamba’s 4th Album, “True Independence,” is dropping on Independence Day after months of skillful work of multi-award winning producers, singers, rappers from Malawi, South Africa and Nigeria.

Celebrated Christian Rapper Gwamba, when contacted by Zambuye.com said the album is a compilation of hits recorded by multi-award winning producers whose delivery of work in this project will not only satisfy the enthusiastic fans, but also minister to their lives.

“This album comes at a strategic time. For the people to fully understand the album title, they need to get hold of the album once it drops on the 6th July”

This year Malawi will be observing its 58th independence.

The album is a collection of fourteen songs, containing ten collaborations with local Malawian and international artists.  At the international level Gwamba has worked with Nimix from Nigeria and Lollie Native from South Africa.

“My album will be available on all streaming platforms. The album is going to be available only online. Unlike in the past, with this album I’m not doing CDs,” he explained.

Some of the Gwamba’s albums include: ‘Jesus is My Boss’ and ‘Mama Said God first’.

The True Independence album has been mastered by three producers; BFB, Tricky Beats, and Dj Sley, produced under Major 1 Recordz.

Meanwhile preparations for the album launch are at an advanced stage. The launch will be held at Blantyre Sports Club on the 23rd of July. Advanced tickets for the show are going at K2000 and at the door will be K4000.
