An All white Worship Concert

The worship night started on a high note with a performance by Zomba Fountain of Victory Church International.

The venue was set ablaze when Veteran Gospel artist, Dr Ethel Kamwendo Banda took the stage. She had almost everyone on their feet. Just as she started performing “ndiumboni”, the place got smaller with the crowd, clad in all-white-attire dancing and singing word for word.

Apostle Joseph Ziba then took to the podium to a standing ovation. Reading from Revelation 22 verse 6, he exhorted the congregation on the significance of worship. He explained that worship has a meaning in the spirit and when it is done without a understanding, it is done religiously.

“What you give out in worship, it is only God who receives it hence you need to understand clearly what you are doing. Worship is only meant to go to God and not to any man. Some people don’t go far in life because they receive worship which is only meant for God. Anything done with a good meaning has an empowerment from God”, he said.

“The bible says God seeks those who should worship Him meaning worship is spiritual and those who worship God are the ones who dwell in His presence. God doesn’t want people who worship him to be outside his court. You can’t worship God effectively if you are occupied with the things of the world. You only know who you are in the spirit when you engage in worship,” he explained.

After giving out a spiritual understanding of worship, the entire place erupted into intimate worship led by Fountain of Victory worship leader, Tisaiwale Milandu.
