Composed by Nigerian award winning artist Limoblaze a few years ago, the song was planned to be released as a collaboration, but it never happened due to busy music schedules.

“It was going to be a single in Limoblaze’s project until he got signed to an international label and the release had to come under my name to avoid legal complications.

“It was a pleasure working with Limoblaze and Beracah was just the perfect addition to complete the song,” Mussa revealed in an interview with

In a social media post, Mussa said he wrote the song when was in a lonely space.

“I wrote this song in a lonely space, not because there was no-one around me, but because I felt detached from everyone.

“I have loving friends and family who have always been supportive of me. But the darkness of depression closes your eyes to all that. I never thought it was a serious thing until it hit me and kicked me to the ground,” he posted on social media.

He added, “But in the confusion, the pain, the Lord gave me a song that lifted even me up. When i was writing, I was writing for myself. I needed a dose of my own medicine. And here we are. The Lord has been merciful.

“Through this song I pray that I will encourage someone who has suffered loss, who has lost hope, who doesn’t see the point of living, who can’t take it anymore, someone who just needs a Hug to take them through the day.”
