Drew Celebrates Calvary in “Wandimasula”.

Blantyre based up and coming Contemporary music artist Dr Drew, real name Andrew Mijoya has released a new single titled Anandimasula.

Speaking to zambuye.com, Mijoya said the song is a celebration of the finished work Christ did on Carvary.

He said, “What Christ did on the cross made a way for us to walk into our freedom. We are free to sing and to live to the fullest as a result of this great work hence, we are cerebrating through Anandimasula.”

The song recorded by Blessings Holla of Phantom and Obed Kananji of groove Factory is currently available on zambuye.com for free downloads.

Mijoya started his serious music journey in 2020 when he recorded his veiled album with AB Malinga, Blessings Holla and Obed Kananji.This year, he released his debut EP entitled Love.

Speaking about his experience in the field Mijoya said, “I have learnt a lot from fellow artists and producers along the way. I now have a sense of direction because I have discovered my identity as an artist.”

Apart from being an independent music artist, Mijoya has worked with Faith Mussa in Mdidi Band as a pianist.
