A gifted gospel rapper A’Chanza says he is set to finalise his 2020 mixed bag with a new single titled Shalom which he has featured Saxess.

The song whose concept has been derived from Jesus quote “Peace I live with you, thou not as the World gives” and “Jehovah Shalom” translating to The Lord is my PEACE is set to drop this Friday 4 December 2020.

A’chanza told Zambuye.com that the project is a long time collaboration which many fans have been yearning for.

He said; “This is my long awaited collaboration with Saxess. Something alot of our fans have been asking for. And the message itself is timeless and deep.”

“It’s all about God’s Peace in general. People should listen to it because there is something that will elevate their spirit.”

The gospel rapper described 2020 as a mixed bag of good and bad citing it has been tough with limited time in outdoor performances among other challenges “but God has been great I have survived to this stage and I fully give glory to God for seeing me through.”

He however explained that he is looking forward for more collaborations and videos in 2021 as well as outreaches in schools and remote areas.

A’Chanza came into limelight in 2015 as MPJ with his single “Hope” released under Spirit Culture, a music group formed by Meryvn Njerwa. Then he was featured in the Blantyre Gospel Cypher in the same year.

From there the rapper has been releasing singles throughout the years. Chi Move was his second hit which later had a remix with Mista Gray, Beuce Africa, Thini, Matt Hew, Ayram, Regenerate and Josh Ali.

Earlier this year he released his maiden project called Choice Assorted which featured David Kalilani, Masomphenya, Sir Creedy, Kay Kay Dawa, Pemphero, Micco and Cecelia.

In his remarks Saxess commended the collaborative effort exerted in coming up with the project saying the song is rich in content and pledged for similar arrangements.

“I can say the song is vibe, We all put our best in it merging deep message as well making sure it’s danceable was not an easy thing to do but thanks to God we did it” -He said.
