The Kingsway International Christian Centre popularly known as KICC is launching an Alpha Youth Series on the 18th of June this Sartuday, at KICC Malawi, in Lilongwe.

The initiative which will run for eleven weeks aims at creating safe space for young people aged between thirteen and eighteen years to groom them with life’s fundamental principles.

In an interview with zambuye.com Pastor Emas Potolani says the initiative will empower Young people with life skills and help them be themselves.

He said: “This life transforming event is free, open to all young people irrespective of their religious backgrounds.”

“The meetings will be held once every two weeks and the programs will be creatively designed to spark conversations, and interactions where young people will be challenged to re-imagine their youth culture and the real-life issues they are encountering,” he highlighted.

Pastor Potolani said the goal is to have transformed communities.

“We would like to see our communities transformed, where young people turn into responsible, integral, and reliable citizens in their own right. We would like to raise champions that will take territories and the youths are at the center of our philosophy,” he elaborated.

He further explained that KICC is committed to its vision of Growing Up, Growing Big, and Growing Together.

“It is for this vision that we are running the Alpha Youth Series program that will be offered free of charge just like every other initiative is part of our commitment as commissioned by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hence we are intentionally trying to reach out to all people around us irrespective of their age and faith.”
