Pressure Mounts on Onesimus To come out on Quitting Gospel

By Our Reporter,

Following a series of events, former ECG Gospel Musician Onesimus has come under pressure to clarify on whether he has quit Gospel music or not.

Earlier this year, Onesimus was involved in a feud against fellow Musician Dan Lu, something which is odd for a Gospel Musician.

Lately, Onesimus social media posts have also been causing public uproar.

In a recent Facebook video post, Onesimus is seen dancing with a strange woman on stage with a caption, “Eishhhh forgive me but mmmmh…..put yourself in my shoes 🤣. This morning I had to pray 🙆🏿‍♂️… in munakatani ? 😭😭”

The video attracted a comment from Chawezi Thombozi which reads, “Just make it clear are you still a Gospel Artist or not?”

Onesimus further comments, “please don’t judge me 🙆🏿‍♂️😭, I’m also human like you 🙁.

“You don’t know my story…. But God is faithful and I’m still healing ❤️‍🩹 from a lot of things. 🙁”

Another Facebook user Janet Portia Njoka also wrote, “Onesimus Muzik whatever you are going through, may God heal you and strengthen you……may his grace shine upon you and redeem you from that which you are fighting.”

Music pundits have also criticized Onesimus latest song titled “Open Your Heart”, saying it is not Gospel.

Looking at the song’s lyrics and how the artist has been promoting it, its no secret the artist is no longer a gospel music minister.

In one of his tiktok post promoting the song, which he also shared on his facebook post, the Miracle worker hit maker is seen dancing to his new song seductively. Carrying  a caption: A “little dancing, A little exercise rejuvenates your body, mind and soul” the post attracted cries from brother and sisters in Christ, with some saying: ”Chau Mulungu chachokeratu…”
